and pleasant around the bay area now. taking a look at fó!cs:u features mostly clear and chilly overnight. cold showers developing on thursday and there are a few friday as well, sunnier, milder conditions this weekend. satellite shows a weak cold front pushing through right now. a dry front this, system brought us clouds we've seen. no rainfall associated with that one but a strong yes, colder system is steaming into our direction this, is the one expected to produce thursday morning we'll see the front producing showers in the east bay, south bay and peninsula. it will push through followed by colder air which could produce mixed precipitation or light snow. and later in the day just

spotty showers but we'll be drying out. the rainfall totals by friday morning will be rather modest. inland locations from 5/100ths to 15/100ths. the coast will be wetter from a quarter inch to half an inch. into seera, not a lot of snow is expected. tomorrow, sunny skies, chance of showers thursday, cold air coming in behind the front. a chance of snow showers back in the bay area, chilly where lows drop into 30s. low 40s for other locations tomorrow, mainly sunny skies, high temperatures upper 50s to around4"h@b 60. 45e is the accu-weather forecast. showers likely with a chance of trailing showers early friday morning and chilly friday with highs into low to mid-50s then sunnier, milder weather over the weekend by a couple degrees.

and researchers say a mammogram every two years has the same benefit as every two years for older women. researchers studied and found no difference in breast cancer rates between women screened annually versus bi-annually but almost half who were screened every year had false positive results compared to 29% screened every two years. >> researchers say they found a link between exposure to sun skplit a lowered risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis in women. the researchers followed two groups of 100,000 women. in the first group, those living in sunnier climates were 21% less likely to develop rheumatoid arthritis. researchers found no difference in arthritis rates in the second group which coincided with greater use of sun block. experts warn people about too
